Erin Sample Missioner for Young Adult Engagement & Formation
I hail from the exotic lands of Ohio where my parents, my two sisters, and many animals still live. I have two cats, Annebelle and Dave, who have been my entire world during this pandemic. Some of my hobbies include reading, crocheting, sewing, dancing, and board games. However, any hobby can be abandoned at a moment’s notice if one of the cats is doing something cute.
I am a recent graduate from Purdue University with a degree in human development and family studies and a minor in religious studies. In my time at Purdue, I served as a senior mentor at the Disability Resource Center as well as an instructor for Purdue Night Train (swing and blues dancing). Also, during my time at Purdue, I was the Peer Minister at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd and the President of Purdue’s Episcopal Student Association. While I am sad to leave my team at Purdue, I am really excited to join the crew at St. Paul’s On The Way to create a radical welcome in Indianapolis.
I believe God has created each and every one of us uniquely and we are called to love and cherish every individual. I do my best to live my life accordingly. I am so blessed and excited to be able to get to know you all!
